Friday June 4, 2010 – Greater Baton Rouge Surgical Hospital & Physician Offices gained additional visibility and prominence today when a new large, lighted sign went up on the building’s façade. “The sign features the line ‘& Physician Offices’ which is part of our new brand,” said Kyle Kirkpatrick, CEO. “We want residents to know that yes, we are a first-rate surgical hospital and that they can receive office-based non-surgical physician care here as well. Our excellent staff physicians are ready to meet many of their healthcare needs conveniently right here in north Baton Rouge.”

Friday June 4, 2010 – Physicians seeking flexible, part-time office space in which to treat north Baton Rouge patients will soon have an attractive option at Greater Baton Rouge Surgical Hospital. Construction has begun on a 5,000-square-foot suite that is available for leasing in half-day increments with no capital investment. The suite is expected to open in August.

“Now physicians with patients in our area will be able to see them right here at the facility, even if they have offices elsewhere in the Baton Rouge area” said Kyle Kirkpatrick, Greater Baton Rouge Surgical Hospital CEO. “This is one way we are responding to patients’ desires to be treated close to home, rather than having to fight traffic driving south. Physicians find it convenient to schedule patients in half-day blocks so they can treat them conveniently and at the same time see all that our facility and staff have to offer.”

The timeshare suite will be fully furnished and equipped and will house:

11 exam rooms

2 waiting areas

2 labs

4 nurse stations

3 physician offices

Space is available for physicians to reserve three exam rooms, one physician office and one nurse station per physician. Physicians are encouraged to contact Leisha Clark at 225-359-3277 or lclark@cambridgeinc.com for additional information.

Thursday April 28, 2010 – The staff and physicians of Greater Baton Rouge Surgical Hospital & Physician Offices were treated to a lunchtime feast on the premises of the hospital today. The first annual “Spring Bash” featured Louisiana barbeque, T-shirts for all employees and beautiful spring weather. Kyle Kirkpatrick, CEO, provided an update on business operations at the hospital, which are trending positive. Representatives from Cambridge Healthcare Properties, Dallas-based owner and manager of the facility, were on hand for the celebration and a hospital board meeting that evening.

“Although our Texas friends didn’t say it, their faces told the story after tasting our fine Louisiana barbeque – no more Texas barbeque for them!” said Leisha Clark, Tenant Services Coordinator for the facility.
